Bunny and Deer - "That's Nice"

For my grandsons 3rd birthday, I wrapped up a copy of Bunny and Deer's Forest Adventures, which I purchased at the book launch. Finn at first glance of the book said, "That's nice" looking at the picture on the cover. Then we had a chat and I read the book to him. Finn Sat patiently and quietly taking in every word and pointing to the pictures throughout the book. It was a very special time for the two of us. Finn absolutely loved the story. We also read and actioned the butterfly. Beautiful!!

This is a warm and thoughtfully designed resource that blends therapeutic value with storytelling in a way that truly supports children and their families.

As an Occupational Therapist, I am always looking for resources that support emotional safety and regulation, and Bunny and Deer’s Forest Adventure is a wonderful example of that.

The story is gentle and predictable, with calming language and beautiful illustrations that support sensory regulation and emotional connection. It introduces concepts like co-regulation, courage and safe relationships in a way that is meaningful and accessible for young children.

10/10 on concept and effectiveness! G

I gave this powerful little story book to my niece who's 6 year old daughter wouldn't drift off to sleep at night. For the first time in a long time Isabella fell into a long and deep sleep. I'm and English teacher and the subtle sleep cues are evident in the writing and really work to get a child ready to listen to the hypno recording. This is a well planned and well executed book that does what it says it does. The authors should be proud that they have given the world this fabulous resource.
